Dave Lamy has over 14 years of experience in software development and has been deeply involved in a variety of technologies and business problems across several industries, from travel to telecom. Before joining Levels Beyond, Dave held lead design and development positions on a number of highly flexible, strategic-level business software projects. Highlights of this experience include the design and development of a highly customizable CRM platform, and the reconstruction of a tour operator’s business operations software. Previous companies include: NCR, Marketvision Inc, OppenheimerFunds, Globus & Cosmos, and ADTRAN.
The common thread Dave has found over this experience is that business software has a very human angle that is all too often unappreciated by software engineers. Dave graduated with a dual Marketing/MIS degree in 1996, which helps fuel his passion for developing software that solves business issues without alienating the end user.
Jason Perr has worked in all sides of film and television production and post-production, providing him a unique view of the landscape of digital asset management issues, solutions, and trends. Working as a visual effects supervisor in 2003, Jason built his first automated distribution and approval workflow to automate processes between post-production offices in Los Angeles, and visual effects offices in South Korea. After many previous jobs in producing, production coordination, post-production supervision, and editing, Jason saw a unique niche being created in the technology space that would be a perfect fit to make his transition away from production and into the tech world. A few years later, Jason create MacHarmony with partner Jeff Kinley. MacHarmony built and supported post-production facilities in Southern California and provided custom workflow automation utilities to ease the pains of slow, manual, workflows.
After building a successful consulting and integration business based on the Final Cut Server platform, Jason discovered the platform being developed by Levels Beyond. In September of 2011, Jason joined the team to help spearhead a new initiative to create a low-cost Professional version of their very successful Reach Engine product.
