History
From our humble beginnings as consultants building middleware and web based interfaces for legacy media management systems, we have evolved into a company that delivers the only purpose-built end –to-end solution platform for the new world of video.
Our roots go back to 1998 when we first envisioned a component-based content management system for publishing across every platform. We actually built it, and it worked.
But as is sometimes the case, we were eclipsed by politics and competing agendas, and a team of us walked off into the sunset to live and fight another day.
We were “the little consulting company who could”, and we quickly grew a reputation for unique and innovative solutions, and for being great people to work with.
One of our early clients was a traditional linear television channel that wanted to completely overhaul their video workflow system and at the same time begin servicing 46 international territories.
We successfully deployed a solution that required integrating an existing technology, but when the company that developed the technology stopped supporting it in favor of an older legacy system, we looked up and said, “there has to be a better way.”
This is when the seed for the idea for REACH ENGINE was planted.
And because we are great to work with, our television network client recommended us to three major media companies, and REACH ENGINE came to life.
Today we power some of the most sophisticated media enterprises in the world. From moving all of the advertising content for the country’s largest cable operator to delivering every episode and promo for every program worldwide for one of the big 4 networks, REACH ENGINE delivers value, scale and impact.
We recently closed on our first-ever round of private funding and we are expanding our team, opening new offices and adding new clients at a rapid pace.
As we look forward to the months and years ahead, we can look back and see that our approach and philosophy have put us in a remarkable position to be the foundation and build the infrastructure to truly meet the demands of our new connected world.
